The rest, as they say, is history. Once started, I was hopelessly hooked! Now, nearly 10 years later, I have created more than 50 scrapbooks -- thousands of pages of memories on subjects including weddings, babies, vacations, pets, theater, music & more.

My children are grown, I'm active in my church, a Southern Gospel singer and happily married to a wonderful banker who indulges my scrapbook mania.

I became interested in scrapbooking after my trip to France nearly 10 years ago. As a divorced mother of two, the idea that I could afford a two week trip to France was a dream come true. When I returned (47 rolls of film later!) I knew that the photos had to be preserved in a more special way than just an ordinary photo album. I knew that a co-worker always took fabulous vacation trips every summer and could soon afterwards be seen at work with an eye-popping scrapbook to commemorate the trip. I decided that was the perfect way to preserve my memories of France.

But it wasn't until my mother passed away some years later and I received none of the family photos from my childhood that I realized how important, how priceless and irreplaceable our memories really are. I determined that my children would not be left with little or no family memories preserved for them to hand down to their children! Here at Generations, we want to make sure your family has all those ageless and enduring memoirs for years to come! That's the reason I scrapbook my life -- and the main reason and guiding principal behind Generations Memory Books.
